SPF-Selskabet is Denmark's largest trading company for breeding stock and weaners – and the world's largest carrier of live pigs. Export of weaners has been part of our business for the last 15 years, while we began exporting breeding stock in 2009.
| The company is based on SPF health, meaning that the vast majority of the pigs we supply come from herds with declared SPF health status. Our transport system is designed to meet requirements on animal welfare and high health levels. |
Good health is a prerequisite for fully utilizing the pigs' genetic potential for large litter size and high levels of daily gain, feed conversion ratio, lean meat percentage and meat quality. |
